Department of Labour Funding Window
We at Sikhula Agri Training work closely with Project beneficiaries to complete their application for funding. Since we invested a lot of time, money and expertise into this venture, we would like to be the preferred Service Provider to render training to this Social Development Project. Cognisance should be taken of the fact, that we are aware of the dynamics and problems within this specific project as well as the lack of resources they are facing with, hence the reason we believe that we are the best equipped provider to be appointed to train these groups.
Maybe the following criteria will serve as motivation during the tendering process:
Accredited Provider
SIKHULA AGRI TRAINING was established during 2005 with funding support from the members to supply much needed agri business acumen to all farming emerging farmers. SIKHULA AGRI TRAINING is accredited with the Agri Seta.
The unique training programmes, developed by them, have a holistic approach and focuses on the emerging farmer and how to separate his life from the life of his agri project. The programmes also supply the necessary financial and marketing skills. SIKHULA AGRI TRAINING engages the Emerging farmer in an intensive training programme with the objective for the Emerging farmer to work on his agri business to improve it and to regain his/her personal life. SIKHULA AGRI TRAINING only uses experienced and trained agriculturists to assist Emerging farmers.
Social Development and Marketing
SIKHULA AGRI TRAINING believes that the essence of Social Development is that it must benefit the majority of unemployed black South Africans. When it comes to uplifting the social-economic profile of society, no government can be neutral. Meaningful development of black people means in the context of the developmental province, empowerment of particularly women, rural communities, youth and the disabled. In order to maximize the collective impact and synergy of what we are doing at SIKHULA in pursuit of the reduction of poverty and growing the economy, it is of critical importance to create markets where these farmers can deliver their produce. We assist the groups with
National Support
SIKHULA AGRI TRAINING already has offices in the Western Cape, Northern Cape, Freestate and Kwa-Zulu, Natal and is in the process of establishing offices in all the other provinces.
